Fr. 268 $5 1896 Silver Certificate, "Educational Note", Choice Very Fine. A very pretty note that looks Extra Fine on the face, but the back has just a little too much soil along the folds. Acquired by the consignor as Extra Fine.

Fr. 279 $5 1899 Silver Certificate, "Chief", Extra Fine. A lovely "Chief" with super deep colors and highly original. Acquired by the consignor as Almost Uncirculated.

Fr. 282 $5 1923 Silver Certificate, "Porthole", Very Fine. Very attractive "Porthole" with no major problems.

Fr. 302 $10 1908 Silver Certificate, Fine. A nice lower grade specimen of the famous "Tombstone" note. Acquired by the consignor as Very Fine to Extra Fine.

Fr. 321 $20 1891 Silver Certificate, Very Fine. Fresh and original in every way; this note features Daniel Manning who was Secretary of the Treasury. Some very light soiling on the reverse. While the front of the note had full margins, the back has no top margin.

Fr. 351 $1 1891 Coin Note, Choice Uncirculated. Perfect colors, super surfaces that are totally original with deep embossing.

Fr. 357 $2 1891 Coin Note, Autographed by U.S. Treasurer D.N. Morgan, Choice Uncirculated. D.N. Morgan autographed this note just to the right of the large "2". "D.N. Morgan Treas. U.S. 1893.1897." Autographed incriptions on Coin Notes are very scarce and while Morgan was a prolific autographer, one does not see too many on Coin Notes.

Fr. 363 $5 1896 Coin Note, Uncirculated. A nice, unmolested example with bright colors and nice paper surfaces.

Fr. 364 $5 1891 Coin Note, Choice Uncirculated. Original surfaces and its full color combine to make this an extremely attractive note. Only the slightly tight margins prevent this note from being called a full Gem.

New York, West Troy - $1 Original Series, Fr. 380 The NB of, Ch.# 1265. Scarce note from Albany County. The bank was originally chartered in 1865 and in 1905 it changed title to National Bank of Watervliet. Only 5 notes are reported to Kelly. Very Good with strong pen signatures.

Idaho, Payette - $10 1882 Value Back Fr. 577 The First NB Ch.# (P)5906. Only two banks in Idaho issued Value Backs and out of the seven or so notes reported on this bank, we are lucky enough to have two Value Backs. This Value Back is one of only two $10's that we can locate from this bank. Good.

Idaho, Payette - $20 1882 Value Back Fr. 581 The First NB Ch.# (P) 5906. This note, like the previous lot is reportedly UNIQUE for type and denomination. Very Good with a close bottom margin.

Idaho, Nampa - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 601 The First NB Ch.# (P) 8370. Very rare town with only two banks and we are lucky to have one note from each of them. The only time a note was offered in auction from this bank was in 1972! Only three notes are shown in Kelly.

Idaho, Gooding - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 601 The First NB Ch.# (P) 9371. Large notes only from this one bank town which doubles as the county seat of Gooding County. The bank was chartered in 1909 and was liquidated in June, 1928. Only $40,000 was outstanding at the time of close and only 6 notes have been reported to Kelly. Fair at best with a chunk missing from the right side of the note.
We understand that the in 1909, the Post Office in recorded only 90 people in Gooding.

South Carolina, Charleston, $5 1902 Plain Back, Fr. 602 The Bank of Charleston. National Banking Association, Charter. #2044.
A very common note from one of the few banks that survived the War Between the States. Very Good with small amount of the note missing along the top edge were the folds are located.

Idaho, Twin Falls - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 606 The Twin Falls NB Ch.# 11274. A very rare bank with only two notes reported. The only public offerings ever, are for small size notes. Chartered in 1918, the bank was forced into a receivership by the great depression with only $3,255 in large size outstanding. Good with trimmed margins.
Estimated Value $1,250-1,750.

Idaho, Nampa - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 606 The Farmers and Merchants NB Ch.# (P) 10916. A very rare bank with the last note being auctioned off in 1974! This institution was chartered in 1916 and was bought by The First National Bank in 1920. During those four years, a meager $147,000 was issued and only three notes are reported. Very Good.

Idaho, Parma - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 606 The First NB Ch.# (P) 11496. Parma is located in Canyon County, not to far away from Caldwell and Boise. The bank only issued $5s in both large and small size and only $1,385 was outstanding in 1935 of large size. Six notes are reported from this bank. Fine.

Idaho, Lewiston - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 624 The Lewiston NB Ch.# (P) 3023. Gorgeous in every way, this note would be the perfect "type note" for a state set. Kelly reports only 8 notes and if that is the case, surely this is one of the finest from the bank. Extra Fine.

Virginia, St. Paul - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 626 St. Paul NB Ch.# (8547). If you collect biblical notes or misplaced names, this note is a must. Very Fine.

Idaho, Meridian - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 628 The First NB Ch.# (P)10221. The Kelly census shows two pieces reported, but both must be closely held as we can find no offerings of any kind in the last half of the 20th century. A very rare "once in a life time" note in a presentable grade. Fine with light foxing.

Idaho, Boise - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 628 The Pacific NB Ch.# (P) 10083. An evenly circulated note from this "large only" bank that went out of business in 1929. Very Good.

Idaho, Twin Falls - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 632 The Twin Falls NB Ch.# (P) 11274. As previously mentioned, only two notes are known on this bank and this note, must be the finest! A gorgeous note with purple stamped signatures of the Keefer brothers. Fine with full margins.

Idaho, Boise - $20 1902 Date Back Fr. 644 The Idaho NB Ch.# (P) 8346. Out of the six institutions that issued notes from this city, this is one of the more difficult banks to obtain. Very Good.
