Lot 424
Delightful Framed Fractional Currency Type Set. Fractional Currency type set of all 5 issues including a wide margin pair of Grant Sherman essays. The Grant Sherman is autographed by Jeffries - Spinner (3455SP). The notes are reportedly mounted with archival tape so one should be able to remove them without great difficulty. A brief history of Postage and Fractional Currency along with descriptions of the notes are also part of the display. Grades range from Very Fine to Uncirculated. Wonderful display that would make any collector proud. Five frames with a total of 48 notes and 1 set of specimens.

This beautiful collection once hung on the wall of David Liljestrand's office.

Chartered in 1914 the bank lasted for about 20 years when the Great Depression finally forced the bank into receivership. Fine.
