1909. NGC graded
MS-64. Fresh mint luster throughout and well struck by the dies. For some
reason, this date is very difficult to locate in higher grades, for example,
only 18 have been graded higher by NGC while they have graded 194 as MS-64.
Needless to say, finding a higher grade example will be much more expensive
than the coin offered here.
Estimated Value $1,800-2,200.
Lot 980

Lot 987
1909-D. PCGS graded
MS-64. This example seems a bit fresher and cleaner than some of the others

examples to find just the "right" one to fit in your date set. What an
opportunity to match color and surface quality.
