1939. NGC graded Proof 68. When it comes to freshness and originality, nothing can beat this beautiful proof 68 Walking Liberty half dollar. From its perfect surfaces to its bold strike, and from its beautiful design to its lovely pale yellow toning, it is a remarkable blend of numismatic artistry. Moreover, with only 31 graded this high (and none graded higher by PCGS or NGC) this is tied for the finest available of the date. Bid accordingly.
