Frost, Robert
(1874-1963) Pulitzer prize winning poet. Frost's work is characterized
by his use of colloquial language, his depictions of rural New England and
his realistic verse portraying people in everday situations.
Signature ("Robert Frost"). Signed Time Magazine cover.
Inscribed with blue ink. Two faint horizontal creases are visible, the
cover has been matted to an overall size of 11 x 14" and is in very good
condition.
Portrayed against a backdrop of birch trees, a stone
wall and a creek, this is Frost of New England. 1950, the year of this
issue, saw Frost as poet-in-residence at Amherst College.
