Estimated Value $450-550.

Lot 901
1878-S. NGC graded MS-62 Premium Quality. Flashy luster in the fields with some minor specks of toning starting to form. We do note hairlines and these probably limited the grade.

Estimated Value $70-90.

Lot 906 Click on photo for enlarged version Click on photo for enlarged version

Estimated Value $800-900.

Lot 907 Click on photo for enlarged version Click on photo for enlarged version
1880. Proof 60. Cleaned to an unnatural brightness, with resulting hairlines as all too often seen.
Estimated Value $700-800.

Lot 908 Click on photo for enlarged version Click on photo for enlarged version
1881. Proof 63. A rather pleasing proof specimen with excellent contrast between the brilliant fields and frosted devices. The fields are void of hairlines to the naked eye and a light film of russet tone is starting to form.
Estimated Value $1,300-1,600.

Lot 909
1882. Sharpness of VF-30. Cleaned to death, what a shame! Here is a coin that is begging to be toned. In spite of its grade, a very collectible date due to its proof-only status.
Estimated Value $400-500.

Lot 910 Click on photo for enlarged version Click on photo for enlarged version
