Lot 1048
1921. MS-64. Delicate gold toning on the lower obverse rim and fairly well struck with most of the curls on Liberty's head sharp save for the little ones over her ear. The consignor believes the reverse is rotated, which it might be, but its very slight. Perfect for a date set.

1921. MS-61. Well struck for this high relief date, but there is a faint rubber band burn across the obverse touching the back of Liberty's neck into her hair. Untoned and decent for the grade.

1921. AU-50. This one was lightly cleaned, but is well struck at the centers.

1922, 1924, 1926, 1927 and 1934. Each grades MS-60 to 63. Most are white, but a couple have light gold toning. Lot of 5 coins.

Partial Peace Dollar set. This partial set includes the following dates: 1922 P,D,S; 1923 P,D,S; 1924 P, S; 1925; 1926-S; 1928-S and 1935 P,S. These grade from EF to BU. A nice way to put together a set with most of the common ones out of the way with this group. Lot of 13 coins.

1922-S. ICG graded MS-64. Mostly untoned and white, but with a scattering of tiny toning specks starting to form on both sides and hazy gold shades starting to settle in.

1926-D. PCGS graded MS-66. One of the finest graded of this date, just 71 awarded this grade, with 7 graded higher. Blazing white luster and about as nice as one could hope to find.

1926-S. PCGS graded MS-65. This one is frosty and bright, with light hazy toning starting to form. In an old small PCGS holder.

1927-S. PCGS graded MS-64. Hazy white luster on both sides, and untoned. Standard lazy "S" Mint strike.

1928. AU-55. Satiny luster and with a touch of rub on the high points. Hard to find this nice.

1928-S. PCGS graded MS-64. Hazy gold toning on both sides, but mostly white luster, and some dark areas on the reverse rim.

1934-S. MS-60 Plus. Cleaned on the obverse with resulting hailines expected for the grade assigned. Nice luster and well struck, this important date is rare in full Mint State. Light golden toning on the obverse and reverse. An impressive example for the date specialist.

1935. MS-64. Nice cartwheel luster on this date, with clean surfaces too.
