Lot 1156
1953-S. PCGS graded MS-65. One of the most difficult dates to find with "Full Bell Lines", this one has a better than average strike, but is weak on the center bell lines. Locating a fully struck specimen has become downright expensive, as seen in the famous sale of a gem in January by our friends Bowers and Merena. Clean surfaces.
Estimated Value $100-UP.

Lot 1157
1954. PCGS graded Proof 66. Light foggy toning starting to form and with a touch of gold around the periphery. A couple of faint hairlines from an even higher grade.
Estimated Value $50-60.

Lot 1158
1954. PCGS graded MS-65 Full Bell Lines. A beautiful toned coin that is likely from a mint set, as the gold toning has the familiar speckled look seen on similar mint set coins. Great luster, and clean surfaces for the grade.
Estimated Value $150-200.

Lot 1159
1955. PCGS graded MS-66 Full Bell Lines. A rare coin in this grade, one of 58 so graded by PCGS, and none have been graded higher! This one has rose gold toning throughout, with an arc of blue around the left side of the obverse. A sparkling gem that is well struck, and one of the very best yet graded.
Estimated Value $400-600.

Lot 1160
1955. ANACS graded MS-66 Full Bell Lines. Speckled toning as seen from mint sets, where this coin likely resided for its first 40 or so years. Gleaming luster beneath.
Estimated Value $200-250.

Lot 1161
1955. PCGS graded MS-65 Full Bell Lines. A low-mintage date that has always been popular with date collectors. Medium gold toning on both sides, minor handling marks, and well struck.
Estimated Value $125-175.

Lot 1162
1956. PCGS graded MS-66 Full Bell Lines. A high-end gem that is probably from a mint set, as both sides have speckled mint set toning. Boldly struck and exceptionally clean surfaces, even for this grade. Another scarce Franklin in very high grade.
Estimated Value $150-200.

Lot 1163
1957. PCGS graded MS-66 Full Bell Lines. This one is probably from a mint set, as are several other toned coins in this series, as the colors and "fabric" of the toning are what are usually found in period mint sets. Sharply struck by the dies, and the surfaces are very clean. One of the more available dates in this grade, but still just 211 graded this high, with 6 higher.
Estimated Value $150-200.

Lot 1164
1957. PCGS graded MS-65 Full Bell Lines. A deeply toned gem that boasts blues, reds and golds on both sides. Clean surfaces and a sharp strike too.
Estimated Value $75-125.

Lot 1165
1957-D. PCGS graded MS-66 Full Bell Lines. A glorious specimen for the grade, sunny gold toning on the obverse, a bit deeper on the reverse with hints of bright orange-gold and red included there. Fully struck and well preserved, with Ben especially fresh and undiminished by bagmarks or other surface intrusions. PCGS has graded 143 this high with a single coin graded higher. Certainly one of the more beautiful coins in this selection.
Estimated Value $150-200.

Lot 1166
1957-D. PCGS graded MS-66 Full Bell Lines. Dusky gold toning with colorful highlights near the rims on this coin are the rule. Well struck, and especially clean fields and devices. PCGS notes 143 graded this high with 1 higher.
Estimated Value $150-200.

Lot 1167
1958-D. PCGS graded MS-66 Full Bell Lines. A lightly toned gem that has excellent surfaces and luster. One of 302 graded with just a single coin graded higher.
Estimated Value $150-200.
