Great Britain. Coronation Gold Medal, 1902. 55.55 mm. 91.4 grams. Coronation of Edward VII. Crowned bust of Edward right. Reverse: Alexandra Queen Consort right. Two sizes were struck in 22 carat gold for the Coronation of King Edward VII. This, the large size, is extremely scarce and rarely offered. Lustrous, satiny and original surfaces with lovely yellow gold color. A tiny insignificant test cut on edge and a tick on the King's ear. With original red case of issue. Uncirculated.
