1897. NGC graded MS-65. A lovely gem example of this date, NGC has graded 43 as such, with just 4 graded higher (all MS-66). Flashy mint color and clean surfaces, even for this lofty grade. A few faint hairlines from perfection, as always seen.
Estimated Value $2,500-3,000.

1900. PCGS graded Proof 62 Cameo. This is a curious one, the quality is top flight on the production of the coin, but there are some minor ticks in the left obverse field which account for the grade, as well as light hairlines. Only 200 were struck, and most of those were lost or spent during the following century. This one isn't the best known, but it sure is pretty for the grade assigned. Color photo.
Estimated Value $3,000-4,000.

Lot 2148
1900. MS-60+. Strong luster and clean surfaces.
Estimated Value $200-225.
