1912-D. PCGS graded MS-64. Nearly a gem, and many would agree, as the surfaces show just a couple of ticks, and very few specks. Nice luster and boldly struck, even on the peripheral stars. Scarce in this grade.
Estimated Value $300-400.

1912-D. NGC graded MS-64. Forget the price sheets on this one, as the colors are spectacular. Deep iridescent gold and red on both sides, with satiny nickel tones over luster elsewhere. Technically a great coin too, as few are found in full gem condition, and this one has no surface problems whatsoever. A couple of very minor flyspecks, if one must find something to worry about, but this one is far nicer than most seen.
Estimated Value $300-400.

1912-S. PCGS graded MS-63. Specks from an old fingerprint, and this one is well struck, with radial lines on each of the stars. Liberty's face is very clean, and this coin is certainly at the high end of the grade.
Estimated Value $800-1,000.
