Dollar: MS 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67 and 68. Most are white, but some
have light toning. We note some old green inserts, and the MS-67 is a small old
style PCGS holder. Lot of 9 coins.
Estimated Value $700-800.
Lot 1346
1881-S (2 pieces) and
1882-S. Each is PCGS graded MS-64. The first has a note that it is
VAM #1A, with recutting on the 88 in the date. This is faint but visible with a
glass. All are bright and untoned and housed in the old green insert PCGS
holders. Lot of 4 coins.
Estimated Value $100-125.
Lot 1347

1882. PCGS graded
MS-66. Brilliant white color with well struck devices. We note a couple of
very small specks on the upper right of the obverse and reverse, and these are
the only signs of toning. One of the better coins from this date, PCGS has
graded 93 this high, with just 4 graded a notch higher.
Estimated Value
$900-1,100.
Lot 1348
A pair of certified
Morgans. The first is an 1882 NGC graded MS-63, next is an 1883-CC PCI

Estimated Value $150-175.
Lot 1349

1882-CC. PCGS
graded MS-67. One of the finest graded of this date, with just 23 seen this
high, and one more as DMPL according to the recent PCGS Population Report, and
on top of them all is one solitary coin graded MS-68. Nevertheless, the coin
offered here has a gorgeous arc of greenish gold toning on the upper right of
the obverse, while the reverse has a whisper of gold around the rims. Fully
struck and exceptional quality for this date. A coin worthy of the finest set
in the land.
Estimated Value $3,500-4,000.
Lot 1350

1882-CC. PCGS
graded MS-66 Prooflike. Great contrast on this coin, which is enhanced by
the mirror fields and well frosted devices. We note on tiny speck in the left
obverse field near fifth obverse star, and a single nick on the reverse right
of the E in ONE, and these will serve to hallmark this important rarity. PCGS
has graded 36 as Prooflike of the date, with none higher in that category,
although there is one higher in DMPL and 23 higher in normal MS-67 grade.
Estimated Value $900-1,100.
Lot 1351

graded MS-65 Prooflike. Stark white in color, with frosty devices and well
mirrored fields. Completely free of toning, and appears to be fresh from a bag.

Lot 1352

1882-CC. ICG graded

by time. PCGS has graded 27 this high, with none graded higher.
Estimated

these many years in order to develop this delightful toning.
