Mint Sets

Lot 2694
A group of mint sets. This group includes the following Mint Sets in original government packaging: 1956; 1957, 1958 (2 sets), 1964 5 sets and 1965 Special Mint Set 21 sets. The early sets are nicely toned from the original mint holders. Lot of 29 sets.
Estimated Value $400-500.

Lot 2695
1956 Double Mint Set in original holder and envelope of issue. This set is totally original, the coins are toned with magnificent colors, especially some of the cents, from the sulfur content in the cardboard holder and paper sleeve of issue. We note that this is an obverse/reverse set, with 2 of each coin of issue from 1956. Don't forget, there wasn't a 1956-D half dollar, but the holes are there for the coin. On the original envelope, it was addressed to someone in Arkansas and postmarked February 4, 1957. Worth a premium for the toning.
Estimated Value $125-150.
