1882-S. PCGS graded MS-60. Slightly prooflike in the fields, with moderate ticks from handling but a nice clean face on Liberty.

1883. PCGS graded MS-62. Strong luster and sharp, with moderate ticks from shipping. We note one long mark on the lower part of Liberty's neck at the top of her shoulder. Minor haze.

1884. NGC graded MS-62. Yellow gold in color and lustrous. Just a few ticks from choice. Rare this nice and downright difficult to find better.

1884-S. NGC graded MS-60. A pretty and original coin, but it is rather baggy as one would expect for the grade, mostly on the obverse as the more complex reverse devices diverted most of the marks from the fields.

1885. PCGS graded MS-62. A few very light hairlines can be seen, but the luster is fresh and bright, and we note quite a lot of "spin" on this one. The reverse is much nicer.

1885-S. NGC graded MS-62. Hazy golden luster on both sides and an average strike. Rare this nice, NGC has graded 38 this high, with a scant 4 higher in MS-63 and one coin above at MS-64. Don't expect to find a better one, let alone afford it! Bid accordingly.

1886. NGC graded MS-60. This one has a few nicks on Liberty's lower back shoulder, and a few others in the fields. Hazy luster and a decent coin for the moderate grade.

1886-S. PCGS graded MS-62. Hazy gold luster throughout, but we note a scratch down Liberty's face from her eye brow to her chin, although it is well hidden.
