Republican Rome. Lot of Two AR Denarii, 82 BC. Lot of two Manlia 4: L. Manlius Torquatus, 82 BC: Roma / Sulla in walking quadriga; Craw. 376/5. Sharp strikes, toned. Choice Very Fine and better. L. Manlius Torquatus was the proquaestor to Sulla during the Mithradatic War, and his coins depict the public triumph granted to Sulla. Interesting and historical.
