1938-D. PCGS graded MS-66. About as nice as this key date is ever found, we note a sharp strike on Liberty and the coin is mostly white save for a splash of gold on Liberty's upper body. Mounted in an older green insert PCGS holder. We note from the PCGS online Population Report that only 195 have been graded, with 12 graded higher, all MS-67 above.

1941-S. PCGS graded MS-66. Totally white and bathed in luster. The surfaces are exceptionally clean for this issue, with near perfect fields and just a few ticks on the devices. Well struck, but Liberty's hand shows characteristic weakness. PCGS has graded 154 this high and only 4 higher, all MS-67. One for the Registry Set collector who demands pristine surfaces and low populations.
