Great Britain. 1998. Princess Diana Gold 5 Pounds Commemorative Proof Coin. These were struck at the British Royal Mint to commemorate Lady Diana Princess of Wales life. Struck in 1998, the mintage was limited to only 7,500. This coin is number 2244. Mounted in the original box and case of issue, with all the appropriate paperwork as well. The issue price was $925 US. Such a tragic story, and yet another death that could likely have been avoided by religious wearing of a seat belt.
