Lot 60      1850. PCGS graded Proof 64 Brown. A needle sharp strike including full separation within the stars. The fields are reflective with some iridescence that darkens about the devices. One of only about 12 proofs known. Estimated Value $3,000-3,500. |
Lot 61      1852. Restrike. Small berries. PCGS graded Proof 63 Brown. Toned a medium brown with darker hues on Liberty's face and the left obverse field. Bold and well preserved, with virtually no traces of carbon or similar detractions, keeping this one solidly in the choice class. One tiny speck near the knot on the reverse will serve to identify. Lot 62      1853, C-1. NGC graded MS-66 Brown. Sharp throughout, with a trace of red near the devices, light brown elsewhere. One minor neck nick on Liberty, but otherwise very clean surfaces. Estimated Value $1,100-1,200. |
