Lot 241      1913-D. Type 1 ANACS graded AU-58 and 1938-D Buffalo PCGS graded MS-66. Lot of 2 coins. Both are nice for their respective grades. Lot of 2 coins.

Lot 242      1918-D. PCGS graded MS-66. As gemmy a specimen as one will find! Well struck and fully lustrous with surfaces that exhibit pale blue and light golden highlights on both sides. This example is destined for the finest Buffalo Nickel collection. PCGS reports but 4 in this grade with none higher!.

Lot 243      1936. Type 1. NGC graded Proof 66. This one boasts iridescent violet, gold and hints of green colors on both sides. Spot free and a very nice high end gem for the specialist. In an old NGC holder.

Lot 252      1937. PCGS graded Proof 66 Cameo. An exquisite specimen with the fields ablaze with deep mirror reflectivness and the raised surfaces nice and frosty making the Indian and the Buffalo appear to pop right off the coin! A hint of light violet further adds to this coin's appeal. To date, the only Proof 66 Cameo graded.

Lot 253      1937. PCGS graded Proof 66. A beautiful example for the type or date collector. The surfaces are bright and fresh, and the strike is quite sharp on this proof. We note a hint of gold and blue toning starting to form on the obverse.

Lot 263      1937-D. 3 legs, FS-020.2. NGC graded MS-61. Lustrous, but we note minor weakness on the high points. Always in demand for the missing leg on the bison.

Lot 264      1938-D, D over S. NGC graded MS-66. Lovely and bright, with a hint of nickel-blue and gold toning starting to form. This one looks like it was just popped from a roll of gems.

Lot 265      A small lot of semi-key date nickels, 1912-S and 1913-D Type II (3 pieces) with grades from AG to Good. Lot of 4 coins. One of the Buffalo nickels has some reddish corrosion on both sides, and all are pretty well worn, but downright scarce dates! Lot of 4 coins.

This group includes the following: 1913 Type I (61 pieces), 1913-D Type I (7 pieces), 1913-S Type I (4 pieces), 1913 Type II (29 pieces), 1919-D (6 pieces), 1919-S, 1921-S (2 pieces), 1924-S (6 pieces) and 1931-S (14 pieces) with grades from About Good to Fine. A nice selection for the collector or dealer. Lot of 130 coins.

Lot 267      A large lot of Buffalo nickels. Lot of 3500 coins. This lot contains 3500 Buffalo nickels with dates ranging from 1914 to 1938-D, all are circulated and grade from AG to XF. Not searched for better dates or varieties, and these were taken from circulation and hoarded many years ago. Some better dates are noted on the rolls, and most were put away in the mid 1950s. Lot of 3500 coins.
