Lot 761      1880. PCGS graded Proof 64. Good contrast on this one with well frosted devices and clean mirror fields. A few hairlines from a higher grade.
Estimated Value $1,600-1,800.
 


Lot 762      1880. NGC graded MS-65 Deep Prooflike. Lovely medium gold toning around the periphery, frosty devices stand high against the mirror fields.

Lot 763      A trio of Morgans, 1880-O, 1892 and 1896-O, grades from XF to MS-60. Lot of 3 coins. Lightly toned. Lot of 3 coins.

Lot 764      Morgan dollar trio, each NGC graded as noted, 1880-S MS-64 PL, 1881-S MS-64 and 1888 MS-64. Lot of 3 coins. The first is totally white, the next two are both toned with some darker gold areas on the obverse. A pretty group. Lot of 3 coins.

Lot 765      1880-CC. Reverse of 1879. PCGS graded MS-63 Premium Quality. Light gold at the rims, and quite lustrous. One for the collector who demands nice quality for the grade.

Lot 766      1880-O. NGC graded MS-64. Bright, untoned and frosty. We note some minor stray contact marks strewn about the obverse rims.

Lot 767      1880-S. PCGS graded MS-66 Deep Mirror Prooflike. Frosty white on the devices while the fields are highly reflective. The surfaces are very nice, with just a couple of ticks keeping this from perfection. If you love untoned coins, then here is a sparkling jewel for your collection.

Lot 768      1880-S. PCGS graded MS-66 Prooflike. Excellent surfaces as expected for the grade, and totally white in color. A pleasing gem example.

Lot 769      1880-S. ICG graded MS-66. Deep blue green and gold on the obverse, the reverse mostly white with a bit of peripheral gold. The colors and toning arrangement are pleasing on this one.

Lot 770      1880-S. PCGS graded MS-65 Deep Mirror Prooflike. Strong contrast between the devices and fields, with mile high frost on the later and ocean depth on the former. White in color and housed in an older green insert PCGS holder.

Lot 771      1880-S. NGC graded MS-65. Bright gold on the left side of the obverse, with deeper reddish gold through the hair fading to medium blue in the fields towards the right rim, while the reverse is white save for a touch of peripheral gold. The colors on this coin make it really glow. Housed in an antique NGC holder with an early hologram on the back.

Lot 772      1880-S. NGC graded MS-65. Radiant magenta at the center with lively green around the periphery on the obverse of this coin, and minimal marks to distract the eye. The reverse is white save for some peripheral gold. We feel the colors on this example are particularly appealing.

Lot 773      1880-S. NGC graded MS-65. Light gold throughout save for about twenty percent of the upper left obverse which boasts brilliant blue, red gold rainbow jewel tones right through Liberty's nose through her headband. In an old NGC holder.

Lot 774      1880-S. PCGS graded MS-64. Deeply toned on the obverse with glowing dark greens and blues, with lovely areas of red and gold as well, white on the reverse.

Lot 775      1880-S. PCGS graded MS-64. Mostly white save for a thick arc of sunset blue and gold toning on the lower left obverse.
Estimated Value $150-200.
 


Lot 776      1880-S. NGC graded MS-64. Lightly toned on the obverse with soft blue hues and some sunset gold below Liberty's chin and around the reverse rim. Rather pleasing color and luster.

Lot 777      1880-S. NGC graded MS-63. Deep and colorful toning on the obverse of this coin, with lots of aqua green and yellow red in abundance. White on the reverse, and worth a strong premium for the depth of the obverse colors.

Lot 778      A quartette of NGC graded Morgans as noted: 1880-S MS-63 (2 pieces), 1881-S MS-64 (2 pieces). Lot of 4 coins. Each coin in this group has some gold to greenish gold obverse toning, while the reverses are white. Lot of 4 coins.
