Lot 910 1886 Redfield Collection holder. Paramount Intl MS-65, our grade MS-64. This dollar has particularly deep blue, red and gold toning, peripherally on the obverse, spectacularly on the reverse, with an off-center oval of white on the upper right, deep blue and red elsewhere in organized fashion. Worth a good premium for the color. Perhaps these "Redfield" holders will become the new Wayte Raymond holders used for toning coins in the future? . Estimated Value $500-550. |
