Lot 1647      Cinderella. Script for Disney's Cinderella: A Fairy Tale. Maurice Rapf and Ted Sears. January 5, 1945. 147 pages with detailed notations throughout. Bound in leather. Pages are lightly toned; one small paper loss to corner of title page. Overall, in very fine condition.

Apparently Ted Sears' personal copy, the script offered here affords the rare opportunity to glimpse into the making of a Disney classic -- Cinderella. An experienced Disney writer, Sears also worked on Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, and Pinocchio. With numerous comments, cuts, and changes, this working copy of the famous fairy tale is a unique keepsake from the animated film.
