Lot 2351      Very Fine Louwelsa Matt Ewer. Before 1904. Height: 12-½". This lithe vessel with fluted spout is decorated with delicate peach blossoms set atop nearly undulating, pale green stems. The initial F of artist Frank Ferrell appears to the right of the design. The Weller Louwelsa half-circle seal is impressed to the base, along with the number 55. With only some soiling to the surface, this piece is nearly fine.

Lot 2352      Silver Overlay Louwelsa Ewer. Height: 4-½". A single yellow blossom and silver overlay decorate this miniature ewer. Weller is impressed to the base, along with the numbers 1, 2, and 161, and the letter X. With a heavy cracquelure pattern and a single chip (less than 1/8") to the bottom; else fine.

Lot 2354      Louwelsa Humidor. Height: 6"; diameter 5-½". Yellow and orange mums are scattered across the surface of this high-walled, circular vessel. Initials in the glaze near the base resemble overlapping letters A and S. With the Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal impressed to the base, in addition to the numbers 6 and 615, and the letter K. Lid is missing. With only some minor scratches and an unglazed portion measuring ¼ x ½", this piece is very good.

Lot 2355      Louwelsa Humidor with American Indian Portrait. Height: 6". This vessel bears the portrait of a Native American in a full, feathered headdress. Artist's initials near the base opposite the design appear to be JD. The Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal is impressed to the base, in addition to the numbers 5 (twice) and 76, and the letter X (twice). Light surface scratches and glaze imperfections, as well as repair to the lid; in very good condition.

Lot 2356      Louwelsa Jardiniere. Height: 10-¼"; diameter: 11-¼" at the rim. Burnt orange mums and greenery ornament a warm, deep brown and caramel ground. Impressed with the Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal and the numbers 44, 228, and 7 on the base. With only some minor surface scratches and a chip or two (measuring under 1/8" each) to the rim, this vessel is nearly fine.

Lot 2357      Louwelsa Jardiniere. Height: 9". Two blossoms, one deep orange and the other yellow, appear on this vessel with flared rim. The artist's signature, however illegible, appears in the glaze to the left of the design. With the Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal impressed to the base, along with the numbers 2, 4, and 226. Clear signs of wear, including moderate scrapes and chips -- one to a petal of the yellow flower; in good condition.

Pansies rendered in sunny shades of yellow to golden-bronze are scattered across the upper portion of this oil lamp base, which has three curving handles and three corresponding legs. The Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal is impressed to the bottom. Drilled for use as an electric lamp. With some chips to the glaze at the high points of the handles, minor surface scratches, and some discoloration from a decal now absent from the bottom (and therefore virtually imperceptible) this piece is nearly fine.

Signed ER by artist Eugene Roberts to the lower right of the design. The Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal is impressed to the bottom, in addition to the numbers 8, 11, and 67, and the letter S. Converted to electric. Nicks and surface scratches; in good to very good condition.

Light surface scratches and a few minor glaze imperfections; in very good to fine condition overall.

Minor discoloration associated with cracquelure, surface scratches, nicks, and a single chip (½ x ¼") to the underside -- indetectable when the lamp stands upright; in good to very good condition.
