Ostrogoths. Athalaric, 526-534 AD. Gold Tremissis (1.28 g), in the name of Justinian I. Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Justinian right. Reverse: Victory advancing right, head left, holding wreath and globus cruciger; star at right. MEC 123; MIB I, pl. 37, 29a. Ancient marks in obverse field. Chip to flan edge at 3 o'clock. Choice Very Fine. Scarce.
