Maurice Tiberius, 582-602 AD. Gold Solidus (4.44 g), Constantinople, c. 583-601 AD. Cuirassed, draped, and helmeted bust facing, holding globus cruciger. Reverse: Victory stands facing, holding globus cruciger and Chi-Rho staff. Officina B. SBC 478. Nice, even strike, and very lustrous. Small die break at obverse globus cruciger. Extremely Fine.
