Lot 162        An accumulation of 1883 Shield Nickels, ranging in grade from Extremely Fine to Uncirculated. Lot of 34 coins. A nice selection for the collector or dealer. Apparently, someone liked the last year of the Shield nickel design and decided to hoard them. We suspect that this interesting accumulation took a long time to acquire, saving the new buyer a lot of "sweat equity."
