Lot 940        1928 Hawaiian Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Bright and flashy, with a deep brilliance that is quite unusual for this type (most have a satiny, almost dull, luster). Attractive golden obverse toning, highlighted by orange and lilac iridescence at the rims. The reverse has just a light tinge of gold on the right side. Fully struck, exceptionally clean. Simply put, a premium-quality, remarkable example of this scarce type (Photo).
