Ex: The last Kushano-Sasanian king to rule the area (c. 325-350 AD.) was named Vahahran. The area then passed into personal control of the Sasanian king, Shapur II. Even with his reign ended, others afterwards struck coins using his name, particularly the "Kidarites" (probably of Iranian extraction, but it is uncertain whether these peoples were Sasanian, Kushan, or Hun)..
