15    Arkansas, Little Rock, 1873, $1 Certificate of Indebtedness. A very scarce note from this southern state. Very Good.

16    California, San Francisco, $20 Wm. G. Badger Commission Scrip. An interesting ad note that we have not seen before. On the back it advertise pianos and organs with a detailed print of a Woods & Co's parlor organ. Testimonials by Rev. J.W. Ross of the Methodist Church, and Sr. M.J. Baptist, Supt. of the Convent of our Lady of the S.H. The note is circa mid-1870's. Fine to Very Fine.

17    Louisiana, New Oreleans, The New Orleans Canal & Banking Company $20 and $50, 18--. Two notes from this prolific issuer. Lot of 2 notes. Choice Uncirculated.

19    Vermont, Jamaica, Set of Set of Modern Colorized Notes. 1850's design notes printed by the American Bank Note Company with curbs and coins as the central theme. Set of $1, $2, and $5. Hand painted with water colors and sold by A.M. Kagin. These notes were never issued by the bank or printer this way, but was done perhaps in the 1960's-1980's time period by an artist unknown to us. An interesting piece of artwork. Lot of 3 notes. About Uncirculated to Uncirculated.

20    California, San Francisco, Check Drawn on Lucas, Turner & Co. 1855. Heavily cancelled with tape on the reverse. A scarce check on these early California Bankers. Very Fine or better.

21    Internal Revenue Tax Stamps 1870's - 1880's. Printed by the United States Treasury Department's Bureau of Engraving and Printing. These were issued to different manufacturers and makers of sin items such as liquor and tobacco. Lot of 10 notes. Extremely Fine.
