273    Fr-1133. 1918, $1000 Federal Reserve Note. A scarce large size $1000 featuring the head of Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury from 1789-1795. The dramatic eagle on the back was engraved by Marcus Baldwin.

Hard to believe that only 51 notes are reported to Gengerke. With so few in the market place, expect some strong bids for this scarce note. Fine.
