1032 Fr-2300. 1935-A, $1 Silver Certificate, Hawaii Issue. Together with Fr-2302. 1934-A, $5 Federal Reserve Note, Hawaii Issue. Issued in July 1942 as a defensive measure against possible Japanese occupation during the war, any non-overprinted notes were to be sent back to the mainland. Only overprinted notes where allowed in the Territory until late October 1944. The $1 is Choice Uncirculated and the $5 is Almost Uncirculated.. Estimated Value $150-200. |
