2876 1893 Isabella Quarter Dollar. NGC graded MS-67. A top-notch example of this popular issue, here in a blazing white format with intense, steel-blue and wine-red peripheral toning on both sides. As pretty and as lively as they come. NGC reports 30 in this grade, 7 in MS-68, and 1 in MS-69. Estimated Value $5,500-6,000.

2884 1936 Albany Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-68. Spectacular, multi-colored toning on both sides. On the obverse, the toning takes the shape of the tab-type holder in which this coin was originally sold and stored. The reverse is lighter, with soft green centers surrounded by golden iridescence. This is the one and only MS-68 graded by NGC, and none have been grader finer by them or PCGS! As good as it gets! Estimated Value $7,500-8,500.

The closest thing we can compare it to is the ethereal color one finds glistening inside a gem quality opal "stone". In an older NGC holder, well before the star designation was instituted. The beauty of this piece and the tranquil setting of water flowing beneath the Burnside Bridge bely the death and destruction that took place at the Civil War Battle of Antietam. 2893 1935-D Arkansas Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-68 Star. Here is a Monster Coin! The toning is absolutely incredible as is the strike and pristine frosty surfaces. However, it is the spectrum of vivid sunset colors for which this coin will be long remembered. The surfaces exhibit a blending of violet with a brush of lavender and blue and all is encircled by deep golden sunset hues. Population of only 1. This is the finest graded by either service. Inspect this coin for yourself and see if you agree that this is the Finest Known example. Estimated Value $20,000-25,000.

This super gem exhibits delicate pastel tones on both sides that deepen slightly to russet hues about the extreme borders.
