Eight small, early lithographic cartes de visite, 2½ x 4", mounted on cardboard, photographer not identified, most made from steel engravings, depicting Union Army Generals Hooker, Sickles, Carr, and Thomas, and other Union Army leaders. Also includes a carte de visite of George Washington, made from a steel engraving. The Washington is very faint, but the overall condition of the cards is Fine.
