293   Railroad Presentation Tray. This wonderfully ornate, silver-plate tray measures 38 x 23" and was presented by the Pennsylvania Rail Road Company to "Their late Associate, William A. Stokes" as testimonial of their respect and regard, Jan'y 1st, 1859. The fine engraving depicts a lavish vignette of the Pennsylvania landscape with trains, bridges, and workers. Missing one leg. Good. Includes a framed color lithograph of the same scene. In poor condition.
