608   Japanese Samurai Sword. A beautiful, handmade weapon referred to as "Gendai," meaning modern. Probably from the 1920s-30s. The handle is an elaborate design of engraved and gold-accented metal, coupled with a dark green woven fabric covering a stone base. The blade measures approximately 26", and though quite shiny, exhibits some fingerprint spotting. Black polished mahogany sheath. Very Good.
