type, then here is a spectacular coin for your collection.

Lot 1517

1914-S, 4 over 3,
FS-014.89. ANACS graded MS-64. A near gem that boasts gold toning on
the feathers and deep nickel blue with a dollop of purple above the date. The
overdate is notable by a small bar through the top of the 4, which in theory is
the remnant of an undertype 3. Deep rose gold toning on the reverse. Well
struck and well preserved.
Estimated Value $3,000-4,000.
Lot 1518
1916-D. MS-63.

around in mint state.
Estimated Value $140-160.
Lot 1519

1919. Error, struck 30%
off-center. VG-8. The date is a touch weak, as the error strike is
towards 9 pm on the obverse. Clean surfaces and pleasing for the grade, the
buffalo lost his head though. Seldom seen in any grade.
Estimated Value
$225-275.
Lot 1520

1925-S. Accugrade
graded MS-63. With the usual weak strike on the obverse. Lustrous and well
preserved. A coin that should be inspected to determine the grade by
collectors. One of the rare dates that is needed by many collectors.
Estimated Value $600-700.
Lot 1521
1926. MS-65.
Splendid surfaces and luster throughout. A gem.
Estimated Value
$80-100.
Lot 1522
1931-S (2 pieces).
One grades MS-60 and the other MS-60+. One is nice, although both
are weakly struck on the central obverse. We note on the second example what is
probably coin counting equipment marks around the reverse periphery. Lot of 2
coins.
Estimated Value $60-80.
Lot 1523

1936. PCGS graded
Proof 67 Satin, Premium Quality. Superb surfaces and gloriously toned with
iridescent shades of nickel blue and lemon yellow. The surfaces are virtually
perfect, no signs of handling, cleaning or any other abuse which has harmed so
many coins. This one is outstanding in every way, and would be hard to improve
upon in any way.
Estimated Value $1,800-2,000.
Lot 1524

1936. Off-center.
MS-60 Plus. Struck a bit off-center towards 7 o'clock on the
obverse. There is a small rim clip below the date too. Nice surfaces and an
interesting, and rare error.
Estimated Value $400-500.
Lot 1525
1937. PCGS graded
Proof 65. This gem boasts the familiar cellophane yellow toning on both
sides, from long storage in the original wrapper from the Philadelphia Mint.
Watery surfaces, and perfectly struck, and nicely preserved.
Estimated
Value $450-550.
Lot 1526

1937. Off-center.
MS-60 Plus. Struck between 5 and 10 percent off-center towards 9
o'clock on the obverse. There are some digs on the reverse, two hidden on the
head, some scratches too, and another dig above his back. A scarce error.
Estimated Value $500-600.
Lot 1527

1937-D. 3 legged.
AU-58. This one is nearly mint state, with a touch of wear on the
bison's beefy side. A rare coin in high grade, most of these circulated for
years before the variety was recognized, so survival of high examples was
purely by chance. Diagnostic stream of die dots extending from the bison's
hindquarters toward the missing leg as seen on all examples. We note a bit of
multicolored hues on the reverse, when held under a light.
Estimated Value
$700-800.
Lot 1528
1937-D. 3 legged.
EF-40. Cleaned and a bit too reflective still, but could be brought
back to normal if given a chance. Usually one of the last to be purchased by
most date collectors.
Estimated Value $250-300.
Lot 1529
1938-D (40 pieces).
This roll grades choice to gem BU. The final date of this popular
Native American obverse, beefy bison back. Lot of 40 coins.

$500-600.
