1915-S Panama-Pacific Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Here is a beautiful example of this famous coin. The obverse is toned with an irregular central area of gold and russet, surrounded by sky blue. The reverse toning is more organized, with just a bit of blue and gold toning through the peripheral lettering, with most of the reverse bright white. All fields show excellent luster, and the strike is typically bold. PCGS has graded 281 this high, with only 176 graded higher. One of the more difficult commemoratives to find in gem condition, and this one will dazzle the eye without breaking the wallet.
Estimated Value $1,400-1,600.

1935 Old Spanish Trail Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Light antique gold toning on both sides over silvery-gray luster. One of the more "open" designs in numismatics, by which we mean there are extensive fields and fewer devices than usually seen as design elements. This is important because the more fields that are available, usually the more handling marks are found. Not so here, the surfaces remain fully in gem condition, with only a couple of trivial ticks located on either side.
Estimated Value $700-900.
