1993 Mint Error, this is a
Cent struck over a previously struck Dime. NGC graded MS-64. Make no
mistake about it, this is a rare error. First of all, this coin started out as
a 1993 dime and was struck normally. Somehow it got mixed in with a batch of
cent planchets and fed through the coining press again. Lincoln was stamped
over Roosevelt and the obverse design of the dime clearly shows on the reverse
of the cent. One mark in the cent obverse field before Lincoln's nose will
serve to identify this wonderful error coin.
Estimated Value $350-450.
