The 3rd Man (1949, Alexander Korda and David O. Selznick). 27 x 41". Framed one-sheet poster. Folds, minor abrasions near top right corner, minor repair to one name.

Dry mounted on board. Framed under UV-3 plastic to museum specifications. Very Good condition.

Alexander Nevsky (1938, Mosfilm). Export version, possibly from a later release. 30 x 40". Framed one-sheet poster. A 3" vertical tear at upper center edge; considerable loss to upper left corner; a 1½" vertical abrasion at upper center; light stains at lower left; a 2¼" soft fold at upper right. Good to very good condition.

A scarce poster from the end of famed director Sergei Eisenstein's career.

Museum mounted under UV-3 plastic with barrier boards and Chartex, muslin or linen backing.

An American in Paris signed by Minelli (1951, MGM) One Sheet. Autographed by Vincente Minelli. Folds with some edge separation; noteworthy abrasions recto and repairs verso; scattered soil and light stains; pinholes. Generally, this poster is in fair condition, but the strong colors and the Minelli signature make it a piece worth investing in.

The Ashphalt Jungle (1950, MGM) One Sheet. This was Marilyn Monroe's first film, although she doesn't appear on this striking poster, her brief cameo is one of the highlights of this great movie.
Folds with one small area of edge separation; tape verso does not appear to be repairs; owner and ID stamps verso. Fine condition.

Battleship Potemkin (1925, poster issued ca. 1932) Printed in Russia for film's export re-release, probably to Belgium. 26 x 32" Framed. Folds. Fine.

One of the most acclaimed Soviet films of all time, Battleship Potemkin made Eisenstein an internationally renowned film figure. The scene shown in this poster depicts an actual incident in the Potemkin revolt -- a sailor who complained about being forced to walk the plank. A wonderful opportunity -- we have not seen a poster for this epic Russian film.

Museum mounted under UV-3 plastic with barrier boards and Chartex, muslin or linen backing.

Dr. Zhivago, lot of two posters (1965, MGM) Two One Sheet posters.
The first is the very desirable "portrait style" (style C) 1965 poster, featuring portraits and brief character descriptions for the major figures in Dr. Zhivago. Folds with two areas of separation repaired verso with tape; one 4" horizontal tear at right edge repaired verso with tape and visible only on examination; ID and owner stamps verso; three small scattered holes in bottom left corner. Overall, excellent condition.
Our second poster is the Academy Awards version, issued to celebrate the movie's six Oscars. Folds; tip of bottom right corner missing; ID and owner stamps verso. Overall, excellent condition.

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes Album and Lobby Card (20th Century Fox, 1953) Lobby card mounted and framed with a rare Disc Jockey "Not for Sale" album featuring Marilyn Monroe singing "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" on the A-side and Jane Russell's "Bye Bye Baby" as the B-side.
The rare recording and desirable lobby card make for an interesting group. Both pieces are souvenirs of one of Monroe's best, most charming, films and have been beautifully mounted with museum quality materials and UV plexiglass to an overall size of 21 x 31".

Intermezzo (1947 Release, United Artists) One Sheet. Striking graphics with a dramatic Bergman portrait distinguish this poster for Ingrid Berman's first U.S. film. Folds with minor toning along creases recto and verso; owner and ID stamps verso, else fine.
Arch of Triumph (1948, United Artists) One Sheet. Folds with scattered edge separation repaired verso; a few tears and chips along edges would be easily repaired; owner and ID stamps verso. Good to very good.

Judy Garland Double Feature (Summer Stock, In the Good Old Summertime). In The Good Old Summertime (1949, MGM) One Sheet. Judy and Van Johnson really swing. Folds with one area of separation at top intersection; owner and ID stamps verso. Overall, fine.
Summer Stock (1950, MGM) One Sheet. In spite of problems on the set, Judy and Gene Kelly danced up a storm. This great poster even features a drawing of Judy in "that outfit"! Folds, one area of separation at bottom edge; one crease at bottom left has resulted in two ½" tears and one ½" nick; owner and ID stamps verso, the Summer Stock stamp verso shows through faintly at top center recto. Overall, near fine condition.
