1878 8TF, 1878 7 TF and 1878-S. The grade from AU to Uncirculated. The first two have a bit of wear, but the last one is quite beautifully, and colorfully toned on both sides. Lot of 3 coins.

1878-CC. PCGS graded MS-62. Conservatively graded in an old PCGS green insert holder. Bright luster and clean surfaces throughout.

1878-CC. MS-62. Well frosted by the dies and totally white. Sharp on the obverse, but the reverse shows some weakness on the eagle's claws.

1878-CC GSA black box dollar. MS-60+. This one is a bit prooflike. Frosty and untoned.

1878-CC. MS-60+. Toned with deep steel gray on both the obverse and reverse, and we note a rim tick on the obverse right of the date.

1878-CC. (3 pieces). These each grade MS-60. We note that two of these are the VAM-11, with the die lines in the eagle, and they can been seen on crossing either side of his breast. Supposedly an R-5 issue, and no doubt worth a premium from collectors. The other coin is a generic example of this popular date and mint. Lot of 3 coins.
