Lot 2520 Click on photo for enlarged version Click on photo for enlarged version
1887. Rainbow toned obverse. NGC graded MS-63. Splendid vibrant gold at the date, warming to sky blue above through Liberty's neck and fields surrounding, into bright gold again, then deeper blue at the upper rim. A few bagmarks under the toning do not detract, given the stunning colors and ample luster. The reverse has a light ring of gold at the edge.
Estimated Value $350-450.

Lot 2521
1887. PCGS graded MS-63. Ocean bay blue on the obverse of this Morgan, with a splash of gold on the face and in the nearby field. The toning is especially intense on this one, the reverse, is white as usual.
Estimated Value $175-200.

Lot 2522

Estimated Value $90-110.

Lot 2524

Lot 2532 Click on photo for enlarged version Click on photo for enlarged version
1888-S. PCGS graded MS-64. On this one the obverse is toned a rich gold color, while the reverse is a stunning light blue, gold and red over dancing luster. An excellent coin for the grade, and with a whole lot more pizzazz than an average example of this date.
Estimated Value $500-600.

Lot 2533
1888-S. PCGS graded MS-63. Frosty and bright.
Estimated Value $175-200.

Lot 2534
1888-S. VAM-4, R-3. MS-63. This is an example of the "overpolished wing" on the eagle, note how the left wing of the eagle has been polished down to nothing at the center! One of many curious die anomalies of this exciting series. Great white color and clean surfaces too.
Estimated Value $175-200.

Lot 2535
1888-S. MS-63. Quite bright and lustrous, but a touch of weakness on the high points.
Estimated Value $175-200.

Lot 2536 Click on photo for enlarged version Click on photo for enlarged version

Lot 2537 Click on photo for enlarged version Click on photo for enlarged version
1889-O. MS-64. Blazing luster and super clean surfaces on this scarce date. From an old collection, and the coin remains untoned and the only complaint are some very faint hairlines on Liberty's cheek. A well struck coin for the grade.
Estimated Value $325-375.

Lot 2538
1889-O. MS-64. Flashy and white, but we note some minor hairlines on the face and below from some post minting adventure. In addition, there is a minor rim mark on the lower left reverse. These barely show, but are worth noting. Scarce, and always in demand.
Estimated Value $325-375.
