Reverse: Eagle standing left on prow, palm branch at shoulder, club and date in fields (year 34). BMC -- (auction coin with different monogram, and central aleph instead of beth); cf. SNG Cop. 321, a coin minted a decade earlier, for the monogram. Boldly struck, on round flan, with almost complete. Some deposits at reverse bottom. Lightly toned and lustrous. About Extremely Fine. This variety for date perhaps unpublished.

One, year 45 or 46, struck 82/81 or 81/80 BC.; BMC and SNG Cop. unlisted. Other, year 162, struck 36/37 AD.; BMC --; RPC 4695. First well struck up, but surfaces with porosity or light roughness. Toned and rare. Second, well centered and struck up on tight flan, but some spots of corrosion. Toned. Lot of 2 coins. Both strong Very Fines.

Flan of compact module, the obverse struck a little off center. Cleaned, with hints of golden toning now. Nearly Extremely Fine.

SNG Cop. 324, the position of the date letters reversed and the "L" retrograde, dated there as 74/73 BC (GN: year 53). Well centered on tight, if nearly round flan. Slight deposit at reverse edge, otherwise sharply struck, lustrous and choice. Extremely Fine.
