1885. PCGS graded Proof 65. Spot free and quite desirable as such. Light golden toning on the devices, with hints of blue in the fields. As a low mintage date, collectors often purchase a proof example for their date sets rather than pay not much less for a circulated coin of this date. Why not put away a gem instead? Here is a beauty.
Estimated Value $1,000-1,250.

Lot 1504
1888. PCGS graded Proof 65. Lightly toned with hazy nickel colors. A couple of old specks, and well struck, even for a Proof coin.
Estimated Value $375-450.

Lot 1505
1889. MS-64. This one is reflective in the fields and boldly struck. There is some golden toning on the upper obverse, and a minor spot on the neck. Fresh and appealing, especially on the reverse.
Estimated Value $170-200.

Lot 1506
1892. NGC graded Proof 66 Cameo. A real beauty that has frosted devices and is very sharply struck. Just a bit of rose toning on Liberty.
Estimated Value $600-700.

Lot 1507
1892. NGC graded MS-65. With nice sunset gold toning on both sides, and well struck from worn dies.
Estimated Value $500-600.

Lot 1508
1894. Proof 64. Beautiful nickel blue color with some other shades too, but there is an unfortunate streak on the upper reverse of some foreign matter, possibly in the planchet when this one was struck.
Estimated Value $175-200.

Lot 1509
1901. NGC graded MS-65. Flashy luster and untoned, one nick behind Liberty's eye.
Estimated Value $350-400.

Lot 1510
1906. NGC graded Proof 66. A superb Liberty nickel that has delight nickel blue shades and reddish yellow tones on each side. Free of spots or problems, with just a hint of specks of the right side of the V.
Estimated Value $450-550.

Estimated Value $150-175.

Estimated Value $400-500.
